3. Are there any joining fees, access-card fees or other additional costs?

No joining or access-card fees are listed. Membership fees are paid weekly in advance by direct debit from a bank account or credit card, as outlined in your Direct Debit Request Form. An upfront lump-sum payment option is available — contact the accounts team ([email protected]) to arrange.

4. Is there a minimum contract period?

Yes. Personal training plans have a minimum term of 8 weeks (8 weekly payments, or one lump-sum payment). Group class memberships have a minimum commitment of 8 weeks on the Flexi Plan and 6 months on the Lifestyle Plan. If you cancel within the minimum term, the remaining fees for that term must be paid in full. Prepaid session packs (10 Class Pack, semi-private packs) have no ongoing contract.

5. Do you offer casual visits, day passes or trial passes?

We do not currently offer free trial sessions. The best way to start is a Free No Sweat Intro consultation.

6. Can members pause or freeze their membership? Are there any fees?

Yes. Memberships can be suspended for a minimum of 1 week. Up to 4 weeks of suspension per calendar year is free; a $5 holding fee applies for each additional week. Requests must be submitted by email to [email protected] and take up to 3 business days to action.

7. What is the cancellation policy and required notice period?

Memberships are ongoing until cancelled. A minimum of 28 days' notice is required, submitted by email to [email protected]. Payments continue during the notice period, and you keep full access to the studio and any allocated sessions during that time. After the notice period ends, no further fees are due. If you cancel within your minimum term, the remaining fees for that term (and any applicable cancellation fee) must still be paid.

8. Are personal training and semi-private training included in any memberships, or charged separately?

Personal training and semi-private training are purchased as their own session packs. They are bundled together in the On Ramp packages, and the 28-Day Lean & Strong program includes 4 personal training sessions. Group class memberships do not include personal or semi-private training.

9. Are concession, student, family or corporate rates available?

No, sorry there aren’t.

Classes & Bookings

What types of group classes are currently available?

The weekly timetable includes Shred or Swole (with a boxing option), Total Body Strength (Legs, Upper Body and Conditioning variants), Hybrid Power, Split Strength, Hybrid Interval and Hybrid Plus. The specialised HYROX program also runs at selected times.

How long does each class or training session run?

Most group classes, semi-private and personal training sessions run for 45 minutes. Saturday morning group sessions (Hybrid Plus / Split Strength) and all Youth sessions run for 60 minutes.

How do members book or cancel a class?

All group sessions are booked through the GymMaster app. Bookings close 15 minutes before the session start time, and late arrivals may not be permitted to join the session. Cancellations and rescheduling are also managed through the app.

Is there a late-cancellation or no-show fee?

Yes. Group sessions require a minimum of 3 hours' notice to cancel or reschedule; personal training sessions require 24 hours' notice to your coach. Without adequate notice, the session is charged at the full rate. Exceptions may be made for documented emergencies or medical issues at the trainer's discretion.

What should members bring to their first class?

Comfortable training clothes, supportive shoes, a water bottle and a clean towel. A clean towel is required during all classes, particularly when using equipment such as mats and benches.

Can beginners attend every class, or are some classes more advanced?

If you're new to training, we recommend starting with personal training to build a solid foundation and learn correct technique. Once you've gained confidence, you can progress safely into group classes. Hybrid Plus and HYROX HACKX sessions are more demanding and suit members with some training experience.

Personal & Semi-Private Training

How long is a personal training session?

Each personal training session runs for 45 minutes.

How long is a semi-private training session?

Each semi-private training session runs for 45 minutes.

Can clients choose their preferred coach?

Yes. You're welcome to choose your preferred coach, and our team can also recommend the coach best suited to your goals and experience.

Can friends or family join the same semi-private training session?

Yes. Semi-private sessions are capped at four participants, so friends or family are welcome to book into the same session, subject to availability.

What happens if only one person attends a semi-private session?

It will be run as 1v1.

How often do you recommend training each week?

Every member has different goals and needs, so we build a personalised training plan for each person. For a specific recommendation, contact us or book a consultation.

Do personal training packages include open-gym access, body scans or nutrition support?

Yes. All personal training packs include unlimited gym access, a free body scan, personalised nutrition advice, ongoing goal reviews and free merchandise.

First Visit & Eligibility

What happens during the Free No Sweat Intro, and how long does it take?

It's a relaxed consultation with an ONIT coach — you discuss your goals, training experience, schedule and any challenges, and we help you identify the most suitable training option. No workout is required.

Is the Free No Sweat Intro available to everyone?

Yes, it's open to anyone interested in training at ONIT Gym.

Is there a free workout or trial session after the consultation?

We do not currently offer free trial sessions. The consultation helps us recommend the best starting option for you, such as the 28-Day Lean & Strong program or an On Ramp package.

What is the minimum age to join ONIT Gym?

The minimum age for membership is 14. All members under 18 must have a parent or guardian co-sign the membership agreement. Youth coached programs run from age 5 (Fundamental Movement, ages 5–8) and Youth Sports Performance from ages 8+.

Can members under 18 train independently, or is parental consent required?

All members under 18 must have a parent or guardian co-sign the membership agreement. Unsupervised children under 14 are not allowed beyond the entrance area during open gym hours, and children enrolled in a training program (with a signed waiver) may only be on the gym floor under the supervision of a staff member or coach. Members aged 14–17 with a co-signed agreement may train during open gym hours.

Do new members complete a health screening before training?

Yes. Members agree to disclose all relevant personal health and fitness information before and during their training, including health risk assessments, initial and periodic fitness assessments, and any recommendations from their medical or allied-health practitioners. Please also inform the team of any injuries or conditions during your initial consultation.

Can someone train with an existing injury, during pregnancy or after giving birth?

Please tell the team about any injuries, medical conditions, pregnancy or postnatal considerations during your initial consultation. Our coaches will discuss suitable training options and whether medical or allied health clearance is required before you begin.

Do you offer Mandarin/Cantonese/Japanese-speaking consultations or coaching?

Yes. Consultations and coaching are available in English, Mandarin, and Japanese.

Programs

What is currently included in the 28-Day Lean & Strong program?

The 28-Day Lean & Strong program includes 4 personal training sessions plus unlimited group classes, along with a tailored training plan, unlimited gym access, a free body scan, personalised nutrition advice, ongoing goal reviews and free merchandise.

What is the current price of the program?

$495 for the 28-day program.

Are there eligibility requirements or limited start dates?

The program is designed primarily for new clients who want to establish a training routine and experience ONIT Gym's coaching.

Are the advertised results typical, and is any result guaranteed?

Individual results vary, and no specific result is guaranteed. Outcomes depend on training consistency, nutrition, recovery and individual circumstances. Member results shown are genuine examples, not a promise of typical outcomes.

What age range is the Youth Sports Performance program for?

Youth Sports Performance sessions are for ages 8+. A separate Fundamental Movement session runs for ages 5–8 on Saturdays.

Which sports can the youth program support?

Training is sport-specific and covers strength + boxing, strength + conditioning, running form technique + agility, and biomechanics + plyometrics — building the strength, speed, power and agility required for each athlete's chosen sport.

When does the youth program run, and does it follow school terms?

Youth sessions (7-14 years old) run Monday–Thursday at 4:45 PM (60 min), and Saturday at 4:00 PM (60 min) at ONIT Gym. The program follows NSW school terms.

Do parents need to remain onsite during youth sessions?

Children enrolled in a training program (with a signed waiver) are supervised by a staff member or coach while on the gym floor, so parents are not required to remain on the floor during coached youth sessions. Parents are welcome to stay and watch.
